"Wow..." She told him, pretending to accept his apology. "How long did it take you to think of that?" She snapped back, not buying his speech at all. Tilani felt a bit of remorse enter in her belly, but that could have been the baby. "Wipe your tears, Austin. That's not going to work on me." She scowled, watching the tear trail dwn his face. Despite the fact her heart was breaking, and that her stomach was very queasy, Tilani showed no expression, other than the icy exterior that showed as to why she was the Lost Clan leader.
"By the way, who should keep the baby? I or that sleazy tramp you so heartlessly abandoned back in the Pub. Poor thing, probably wondering who she is going to go after next. Shouldn't you be worried?" Tilani mocked, with the faux caring tone in her harsh voice. Sarcasm was also present, as she was no in way going to give the baby up to that whore. Her hand still clenched her stomach protectively, in a fighting posture just in case.

Austin, doubletook and looked at her in shock... the... the baby? They, had a baby? Tilani... but that was all he could force out, memories were flooding back and he was trying to figure out what the hell went wrong? He didn't intend to do that... what had happened to his damn drink?

"Yes?" She prompted him, lifting an elegant eyebrow at him. Determining that he wasn't going to attack her, judging by the dumbfounded look on his face, Tilani relaxed her position just a bit, her hand finally moving from her stomach, though still clenched in a tight fist. Her eyes narrowed warily, wanting to be able to read his mind, but unfrtunately, she lacked thta particular talent. Damn.

Tilly, give me one good reason why you think I would willingly do that to you... I swear I didn't but I want to hear why you think I did... He stared at her still dumbfounded, wishing he could do this day all over again. He was thinking that it was probably a spiked drink. But that's what stupid Austin gets for being a jerk and asking some random guy to watch his drink!

"First of all, Don't call me Tilly. Second of all, any reason I come up with isn't going to help you. I walked in to tell you of the baby, and I find you lip-locked with some whore. What the hell did you expect me to do? Just sit there and be:" oh alright honey, I forgive you." If you did, you lost more than my trust and love in that joint." Her voice was like acid, and accusatory.
"You obviously must know what I'm talking about as when you heard me, the first thing you must've seen was the bitch. Are you really that stupid, Austin?" Just saying his name made her inwardly cringe, though she managed to keep up the facade, though just barely. Just as well, she spat out his name like it was poisonous.

Sorry Tilani. No I didn't expect that, and I didn't do it on purpose... I swear I didn't! He stared at her, still wishing he hadn't done a thing today. Suicide came to mind, but he put the thought away, he was going to get back with Tilani, he loved her, and he always would.

Tilani stared ta him in stunned disbelief, before breaking out into a quiet fit of sarcastic laughter. "You didn't mean it?! Then why the hell did you do it in the first place? I seriously doubt you had no idea about what you were doing." She rolled her eyes cruelly, watching the sky bitterly.

Well I'm sorry you doubt that, but it's the truth, why in hell would you think I'd kiss a sorry vampire like her, I don't even like the girl Tilani. I love you and why would you even think otherwise! He looked at her and waited.

Tilani watched him sadly, shaking her head slowly. "Why shouldn't I?" She asked him quietly, all of her anger seeming to have disappeared. "Don't ask me to trust you, because I don't know if I can." Tilani pleaded with him quietly.

Tilani, you know you can, say the word and I'll do it! I'll do anything to prove you can still trust me! He stared at her in disbelief and pure sadness.

Tilani watched him sadly, as she shook her head and spun on her heel to leave. "I'll see you around, Austin." She told him quietly, starting to slowly walk down the abandoned street. A part of her hoped that Austin would chase her down and kiss her with all of his love. Maybe that might convince her, but a feeling of self-doubt still swelled in her stomach.

Austin hesitated, not wanting to make her madder, but then he put that aside and ran to her. He put his hands on her face and turned her back toward him and kissed her passionately, not caring what she said. He loved her, this girl, this... woman. He loved Tilani and he'd pursue her with all of his life and love.

She stiffened when she felt Austin press his lips tightly to her's, but relaxed and kissed him back, though very slight and hesitantly. Her arms stayed by her side, thugh Tilani gradually grew braver, the kiss growing braver.

Austin continued kissing her, wishing they could start all over, he loved her so much. If only she could see that. He felt her kissing him back, slightly. Well it was a start. At least she wasn't pushing him away, he might cry if she did that, he... he was intoxicated with her love, and he could never let her go.

Tilani broke off the kiss, retsing her forehead against his chin tiredly. "This doesn't mean I've completely forgiven you, but at least I don't feel like killing you anymore." She warned him quietly, snuggling into his chest for comfort.
