--This is only for looks, not to be posted afterward. This post goes deeper into Luna's past, and her mission--
::Three Years Ago::
The leaves rustled softly as the cemetery came into view. I walked slowly. A black suit, jumpsuit if you may, with a gray cloth cover my body. Another gray cloth covers my nose and lips, so only my piercing silver eyes are visible.
My snow-white hair danced in the soft breeze. Tonight was the night. I walked into the cemetery, my eyes piercing into the fog. "Come out you cowards! I am not afraid!" My snarl broke the silence, and a three group coven appeared. All bearing the mark of bounty hunters. "So, Luna, have you finally decided to let us kill you?" I smirked. "Not so fast, big-shot. Tell me about Carth." The name tore at my heart like a thousand daggers.
"Carth is still alive." There was disgust in the coven leader's voice. Apparently, this disappointed them. I narrowed my eyes. "How?" They told me the story of how Carth left and was untrackable. Even the best trackers in the world couldn't find him. But they knew how he grew to hate me, for their master can read minds. Only, not mine.
I grew to hate him, too. I watched their every move. "What does this have to do with me? Why am I wanted dead?" The leader's cold snicker cut through the thick fog like a butter knife. "Master wants you alive...for now." I growled lowly as they began to circle me, I followed their pattern, never turning my back to them. "Why?" He thought a moment, his lips pursing. "You were his lover." I snarled. "Were! I am no longer." I hated the idea, but it still tore my heart apart. "We know it'll hurt him if you die or are captured. He still loves you inside. He'll come out, and we can find him. We'll even let you two die together." I snarled. "That would be torture. I have no wish to see that two-faced-mutt ever again in my days!" My voice was cold, bitter.
"He loves you though."
"Do I care? He can suffer for all I do!"
"You do not love him." This wasn't a question.
"I hate his F**king guts." I spit the words out.
"I see. So would you at least let us take you? To find him and kill him?"
This made me angrier. "Over my dead body!"
They took my challenge and attacked. I high-kicked one in the face, grabbing my wooden steak from my cloak and stabbing it in the heart. It turned to ash. I punched another then sliced his head off. The leader was only left. He ran. Fool.
I snarled once more, my snarl turning into a low growl as I left the scene...
